Jesse Savage

Jesse is an experienced litigator, specialising in civil and commercial disputes.

Providing advice and representation in a wide range of areas, Jesse has a particular focus on complex property and commercial disputes, along with trust and estate, insolvency and Māori land disputes. Jesse has particular expertise in obtaining urgent interlocutory orders and was co-presenter of the New Zealand Law Society seminar on civil search and freezing orders.

Jesse has acted for large corporates, including listed companies and overseas multinationals, in high value disputes and regulatory investigations. Prior to joining the independent bar in 2025 Jesse was a partner in large Hamilton law firm, where he led a busy commercial disputes team.

Jesse is currently the Vice President for the Central North Island of the New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa and sits on its board.
